http://movies.aol.com/movie/fast-food-nation/25878/main?sem=1&ncid=AOLMOV00170000000009

Thank to my sister Rebecca for reminding me that this needs to be shared amongst other important nuggets of truth-

People! Watch what you eat . . and what you are!

We like to bless our food with our hovering hands and contemplate the process it took to arrive on our plates- from goodness grower to loving chef.

Be informed!~Know thy self and the food that makes you(:

Peace

"The ICE idea"

"The ICE idea" is catching on and is a very simple, yet important method of contact for you or a loved one in case of an emergency.

As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is program the number of a contact person or persons and store the name as "ICE".

The idea was thought up by paramedics who found that when they went to the scenes of accidents, there were often mobile phones with patients, but the paramedics didn't know which numbers to call.

They therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there were a recognizable name for "next of kin"

The idea is that you store the word "ICE " in your cell phone address book, and with it enter the number of the person you would want to be contacted "In Case of Emergency ".

In an emergency situation, Emergency Services personnel or hospital staff would then be able to quickly contact your next of kin, by simply dialing the number programmed under "ICE".
It really could save your life, or put a loved one's mind at rest.

For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2, ICE3 etc.

A great idea that could make a difference!

-Thank you Ima!(: I love you-

Tummy tamer:
Instead of popping Tums, brew some spicy tea to soothe digestive ailments. Ginger, known as "the hot root," warms you from head to toe and stimulates digestion-aiding enzymes. It also cures both morning and motion sicknesses. And look no further than your spice rack for relief from menstrual cramps, gas and heartburn: "Fennel, anise, coriander and cardamom all have antispasmodic properties and help create movement in the intestines," says Augustine, who suggests you add these herbs to your cup o' tea.

It can be wonderful just to be where we are now, as we cannot go anywhere until we are where we are! No one is ever missing the boat, because the only boat there is, is the one that each of us is on.

a poemlet!

Oh, cold cold Robin, where will you go?
It's cold outside- this surely you know?

-This said to our neighborly Robin, as he puffed up snuggly in the draft of warmth coming from our home. I invited him in, though he hunkered in a ball. And when I closed the door he flew along.

The snow sounds so icy, as it falls not so gently. The weather is weird today-
This Morning we ventured right into the day- realizing not that a storm makes it's way,
The birds squawking loudly flying hither and there- akwardly flying in a great-great big square.
The birds are surviving March in New England, are we to live purely returning to heaven?!
